Working with The California Environmental Legacy Project, a $3 million NSF funded grant, which is a new kind of educational media project. Through an integrated set of programs and media resources, it builds public understanding about the deep and inextricable connections we have with the natural world, shaping the very attitudes, behaviors and public policies that will guide our nation toward a sustainable future.
I was involved with their interactive online portal which involved from the ground up the development of the website, an educational portal, social media integration, and training Legacy team to update the website, newsletter, and article creation. It was important for The California Environmental Legacy Project to be able to update and manage the web portal for the life of the project and beyond.
We used the latest content management systems (CMS) and available technologies to effectively, economically, and efficiently produce an interactive, media-rich online and mobile experience.
I also worked with Kit Tyler of American Mercury on the production of Becoming California with field production, editing, graphic production and anything else I could help with.
